i might tell you how i spent the entire day
trapped in my empty sheets,
that the window was open but i lacked the will
to jump.

i would leave out the fact that
most of the calories i consumed were composed of
coca cola (not diet),
and that i painted my nails black again
(to spite you).

and i don't know
if i missed you or not;
it's just that
you're the only person who knows how to get me
out of bed.
